The planters would be dark grey/black and positioned against the frontage so that they do not unnecessarily encroach into the pedestrian route.

Access and safety
The proposed position has been selected so that:
- the planters do not obstruct the entrance to Allume Chiropractic;
- the normal pedestrian route past the premises remains clear;
- wheelchair users, people using mobility aids and people with buggies can continue to pass;
- the planters do not obstruct utility covers or other street furniture;
- adequate separation from the carriageway is maintained; and
- the planters are stable and maintained by the business/Corstorphine in Bloom.

Status: Council permission being sought
No planter will be installed on the public footway until the necessary Council agreement has been obtained.
Corstorphine in Bloom is seeking confirmation that the proposed location and dimensions are acceptable and will provide any further measurements or information required.
