Corstorphine in Bloom is a local community initiative dedicated to bringing colour, nature, and pride to our streets, parks, and public spaces. We are a volunteer-led group working together to plant and care for flowers, shrubs, and pollinator-friendly greenery across Corstorphine.
Our aims are simple:
- To brighten the local environment with seasonal displays in planters, hanging baskets, and flower beds.
- To encourage biodiversity by choosing plants that support bees, butterflies, and other pollinators.
- To create opportunities for residents of all ages to get involved, make new connections, and enjoy the well-being benefits of gardening.
- To celebrate Corstorphine’s unique character and contribute to a welcoming, vibrant neighbourhood.
We work in partnership with schools, community groups, local businesses, and the City of Edinburgh Council. Together, we want to build a project that everyone can be proud of – and that reflects the creativity, energy, and spirit of our community.
Whether you can spare an hour to water a planter, sponsor a basket, or simply stop to enjoy the flowers, you are part of making Corstorphine bloom. 🌸
