The new planter built by the council’s plant nursery team at the Inch has been installed in St Margarets Park and planted by the nursery children on Friday 25th September 2026. This is a pilot that can be expanded to other areas.

The plants provided are

Pizza plant – oregano

Spaghetti bolognese plant – Rosemary

Jam Plant – strawberries

Violas with edible flowers (only edible if grown from seed – shop violas have been treated with chemicals)
