Water is supplied by Scotmid who will keep the watering cans. Please follow the health and safety guidance for volunteers. The planter lead will co-ordinate the watering rota which we think is 40 litres (4 watering cans) twice a week.
About these planters

This wooden planters sit outside Scotmid. The square planters are 50 x 50 cm.
All we need are one or two local people willing to keep an eye on it during the growing season.
What is involved?
Very little!
โ Pull the occasional weed
โ Water during dry spells
โ Spend a few minutes helping the area look nicer
Most volunteers give 5โ10 minutes every now and again.
Why it matters
Small efforts like this make the street more colourful, improve the local environment and help bring the community together.
