What’s Happening Now

Corstorphine in Bloom is moving from planning to action.

  • Wooden whisky barrels have been rolled out
  • The Council has replanted 3 local planters
  • Council teams have been clearing weeds from local streets
  • Around 30 volunteers have now met with us
  • Local businesses are offering to host and support planters

What’s Coming Next

There is more to look forward to.

We are working on:

  • business locations to be added on St John's Road and elsewhere
  • more volunteers matched to local planter teams
  • a nature trail with the zoo
  • possible floral gateways and streetscape improvements linked to Visitor Levy funding
  • more business and park locations joining the scheme

This is about more than flowers. It is about making Corstorphine feel cared for, connected and welcoming.
