Organisation & Structure

Corstorphine in Bloom is a community action group working in partnership with the council and other local organisations putting in place a framework that can be used by all. We report progress to the Corstorphine and Clermiston Community Council and work with the chair.

  • Corstorphine in Bloom Committee (5–7 volunteers).
  • Roles:
    • Coordinator: overall project lead.
    • Business liaison: sponsorships, shopfronts, High Street planters.
    • Community engagement leads: schools, churches/mosque/temple, scouts, volunteers.
    • Media Publicity leads: newspapers, radio, TV
    • Social media lead: Facebook, Instagram, YouTube
    • Council liaison: contact CEC Greenspaces, Park Rangers, and local councillors.
    • Leafleting and posters: volunteers needed for each of the 11 shopping areas
