Clermiston Park

Some pictures from 14th September

๐ŸŒธ 3 Whisky Barrel Planters have been placed
1โ€“2 local volunteers are needed for the watering and weeding team.

Give 10 minutes occasionally to make Clermiston Park brighter.

About these planters

These wooden whisky barrel planters sit in the park across the road from Drumbrae Library Hub, so they are visible from the road and library. The round planters are each 45cm in height and 70cm in diameter.

All we need are one or two local people willing to keep an eye on them during the growing season.

What is involved?

Very little!

โœ” Pull the occasional weed
โœ” Water during dry spells
โœ” Spend a few minutes helping the area look nicer

Most volunteers give 5โ€“10 minutes now and again.

Why it matters

Small efforts like this make the street more colourful, improve the local environment and help bring the community together.
