Dunblane Development Trust (DDT) was established in 2003 as a membership-based community company with charitable status. Dunblane in Bloom was formed in 2004 with the purpose of making Dunblane an attractive town to both live in and to visit; and to encourage civic pride and community spirit.

n Dunblane, the flowers you see around the town centre—planters, tubs, beds, and even the railway station displays—are mainly maintained by a community volunteer group, not the council.
