Leith has been chosen as the first neighbourhood for delivering the Edinburgh Nature Network.
This initiative focuses on developing nature conservation plans
for local parks with the goal of creating a neighbourhood that is rich in nature and fosters community connections.

Our aim is to enhance the local environment while providing spaces where both nature and people thrive together. The park you are currently in, Mill Lane Park, is one of the key pilot locations for this exciting project.

Here we are adding wildflower meadows and trying new methods for herbaceous planting, which has nature, climate and community heritage in mind.
