About this area
Within St Margaret’s Park we have many areas where people spend a small amount of time looking after. The willow tree area is looked onto by the Dower House cafe and heritage centre and is a prime sunny spot.
All we need are one or two local people willing to keep an eye on it during the growing season.
What is involved?
Very little!
Pull the occasional weed
Water during dry spells
Spend a few minutes helping the area look nicer
Most volunteers give 5–10 minutes every now and again.
Why it matters
The cafe in the Dower House overlooks this sunny area that catches the sun. Many people pass this spot daily and will have their lives brightened by a little effort from you.
