Help make Corstorphine brighter and greener by adding flowers to your shopfront!
You can take part in three simple ways — hanging baskets, planters, and sponsorship signage.

🌺 Hanging Baskets

Step-by-step

  1. Check your frontage – make sure there’s a solid wall or lintel above your window or door.
  2. Choose your bracket – use a strong wall-mounted bracket rated for outdoor baskets.
  3. Order your basket – standard 12–14″ baskets work well. Use trailing plants for colour and impact.
    • Popular choices: petunias, geraniums, lobelia, ivy, fuchsia.
  4. Water regularly – ideally daily in dry weather; use a watering can with a fine rose.
  5. Feed weekly – add liquid plant food once a week for stronger blooms.
  6. Safety check – ensure fixings are tight and baskets don’t overhang the pavement.
